Rentals

If you are looking to rent a boat on the beautiful Buggs island/Kerr lake that spans over both VA and NC we have you covered. We rent out 22′ Pontoons with 70HP Yamaha’s, 25′ Tritoons with 90HP Yamaha. We have 1 Center Console Sundance with a 50HP Yamaha. All boats are equipped with all safety equipment, and bimini tops. The Center Console bimini top is added upon request. We also have Kayaks and Canoes for rental. If you have children under the age of 14 they must be fitted for a vest. All adults have the standard orange horse collars vest provided on the boats; we do have standard buckle vest for rental upon request.  Feel free to call with any question 434-374-2525

Rental Hours

Our rental facility is open year round for daily or weekly rentals via an appointment. In season our rental facility will be open with a representative on site for walk-ins all day on Saturdays and Sundays Memorial day weekend through Labor day weekend and Fourth of July.  All other times an associate is available by reservation. Your rental can be picked up as early as 8:00AM and will be due back to the dock no later than 5:00PM. Please be on time to pick up your rental. Our rental agent will only remain 30 minutes past the scheduled pick up time, no longer. 

Rental Policies

Rental Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. A reservation may be made via our online booking. No hourly reservations will be taken in advance those can be booked day of via a phone call. We require 48 hours notice for all cancellations.

We also ask that you bring the boat back in the same condition as when you left. Please remove all trash & personal belongings when you leave. We are not responsible for items left on the boat, as some boats are immediately rented upon return.

We realize many of our customers visit from out of town and the weather can play a big role in your plans. We ask that you monitor the weather from your location and make plans accordingly as we cannot be held responsible for the weather forecast. If we have sever weather or the day is a complete wash out we are more than happy to provide a rain voucher for you to come back and see us. 

Important/ Fast booking Dates: 

Mothers Day (May 11), Memorial Day (May 26), Fathers Day (June 15), July 4, LakeFest*, Labor Day (Sept 1) 

*To have a boat over night on busy holiday or festival weekends you must rent the boat for two days the day of and the following day as we do have employees working in the dark on the docks due to events. If having a multi day rental and want to return the boat that night we cannot cut breaks or discounts as boats have to be prepared before next renter, so you must rent for the 2nd day. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.  If you want to inquire about a overnight without 2nd day rental it must be done via Rental associate and cannot be during busy weekends, holidays and festivals. Most of these will take place during the week or out of season.

 Booking Tips: If booking 5 plus days please ensure to hit the drop down button on Boat length as discounts are given at day 5.
